Junior High Knowledge Bowl
Advisor/Coach: Mr. Foertsch
What is JH Knowledge Bowl and How Does It Work?
Junior High Knowledge bowl meets consist of 45 written questions to rank teams, followed by 4 oral rounds with 45 questions read to three teams competing in one room. Each team has a buzzer strip they hit and the fastest group gets to answer the question first (very similar to jeopardy). Throughout the year a specific category is chosen for each meet from Science, Math, English, and Social Studies. Then the team, which answered the most questions relating to the chosen subject, wins that award for the meet.
