Six Word Memoirs were founded by Smith Magazine for people to express storytelling in six words. It all started when novelist Ernest Hemingway was asked to tell a story in six words and he responded, "For Sale: baby shoes, never worn." Then Smith Magazine asked its readers to do the same and the result was a book called Not Quite What I Was Planning, a collection of six-word memoirs.
Examples from the book:
"Thought I would have more impact." - Kevin Clark
"No wife. No kids. No problems." - Rip Riley
"Cursed with cancer. Blessed by friends." - Hannah Davies
"I still make coffee for two." - Zak Nelson
Here are some examples from our own school:
"My head is a scary place."
"Inspired by faith searching for sunshine."
"Older does not equal more responsible."
"Life throws curve balls, learn to adjust."
"Wifi pretty much makes my life."
"Life's too short, ride a dinosaur."
