​MSUM Scholarship
Due by April 30, 2019
This scholarship is made possible by the MSUM Alumni Foundation by alumni and friends of the University.  A former graduate of Underwood has set up a scholarship to be given to another graduate of Underwood who will be attending MSUM in the Fall.  Applications were emailed to all Seniors and hard copies can be found in the school library.  

Stalker Lake Sportsman Club
Due April 30, 2019
The Stalker Lake Sportsmans club will again be offering Scholarship opportunities to students graduating in the class of 2019.  This year awards will be 2 scholarships in the amount of $500 each.  Applications are in the school library.  

Ottertail/Grant County Corn & Soybean Growers Association
Due May 3, 2019
The OtterTail/Grant County Corn & Soybean Growers is proud to announce that they will again be providing two $500 scholarships to students graduating in 2019 from Otter Tail and Grant Counties who pursue a post-secondary education in the field of agriculture.

​Lillian Saure Nursing Scholarship
Due May 15, 2019
The Pioneer Care Auxiliary is pleased to sponsor an educational scholarship for community members and employees of PioneerCare who plan to advance in health care career and are enrolled in a related degree or certificate program such as: Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.  
Applications are in the school library.

Women in Public Finance
Application due by May 31, 2019
The Minnesota Chapter of Women in Public Finance operates a scholarship program that allocates at least $5000 annually.  To qualify applicants must be a female, college bound student in the Fall of 2019.  Have at lease a 3.0 GPA and exhibit leadership skills through extracurricular activities, volunteer positions, internships and/or other work experience.  They must also indicate an interest in pursuing a public finance related career in finance, government, nonprofits, banking or law.
Applications can be found in the school library.

Tip #1:  Have you talked to your church, insurance agent, bank,or your parents' place of employment yet?  Those are all excellentresources for scholarships. 

Tip #2:  You never know what you are capable of unless you try -don’t be the student that later regrets not going for it and giving ittheir all.

Tip #3:  If you are going to apply, do a good job.  Theperson/people reviewing it won’t spend time trying to understand yourhandwriting and will know if you took your time on it.
